Fellowship Beginner Guide – Everything You Need to Know
FELLOWSHIP: THE ULTIMATE BEGINNER’S HANDBOOK
Fellowship is a MODA (Multiplayer Online Dungeon Adventure). Unlike traditional MMOs with vast open worlds and fetch quests, Fellowship distills the experience down to the most exciting part: cooperative, high-stakes dungeon crawling.
You will pick from a fixed roster of heroes, team up with three other players, and tackle dungeons that scale infinitely in difficulty. The loop is simple but addictive: Run Dungeon → Beat Timer → Get Loot → Increase Power → Repeat.
GAME STRUCRURE: DUNGEONS & LEAGUES
The core of the game is the dungeon run. Your goal is to defeat enemies to reach 100% Kill Score and defeat the final boss before the timer runs out.
HEROES & THE TRINITY
Fellowship uses the classic "Holy Trinity" of roles. You select a pre-made hero, each with a unique kit.
THE ROSTER
Tanks
- Helena: Uses Toughness to mitigate damage; very sturdy.
- Meiko: A combo-based tank that relies on self-healing and buffs.
Healers
- Sylvie: Nature-themed; uses pets (Flutterflies) and thorns.
- Vigour: A "Battle Cleric" style; uses Radiant Runes to heal or deal burst damage.
DPS
- Ardeos (Ranged): Fire mage. Applies dots and detonates Burning Embers.
- Rime (Ranged): Ice mage. Builds Winter Orbs for massive frost burst.
- Elarion (Ranged): Marksman. Manages Focus and mobility.
- Mara (Melee): Rogue-style. Uses poisons, stealth, and combo points.
- Tariq (Melee): Berserker. Wields a hammer and lightning; manages Fury.
TALENTS AND RESPECCING
Each hero has a talent tree to choose from passive bonuses and upgrades to your abilities. Throughout the game, you unlock a total of 13 points depending on which tier of difficulty you’ve reached.
Points can be spent on any talent in any row, and you can respec any time for free between runs in the stronghold to experiment.

THE RULES OF THE RUN
- Timed Runs: Every dungeon has a timer. Beating the timer grants maximum loot and rating.
- Overtime: If the timer hits zero, you can still finish the dungeon for rewards, but the quality (item level) of the loot decreases the longer you take.
- Death: There is no durability loss or XP loss. Death simply subtracts time from the clock. You respawn at the nearest activated Campfire.
FELLOWSHIP GAMEMODES
There are three main gameplay modes for Fellowship, Quickplay, Challenger Leagues, and Eternal.

QUICKPLAY
Quickplay is a low-difficulty, gear-normalized, timeless matchmaking queue allowing anyone to play together, perfect for casual runs, learning new heroes/roles, or grouping with friends at different progression stages
This mode puts you into any random one-boss dungeon, and with an experienced team can be speedran in as little as 6 to 7 minutes. Each quickplay rewards 4 Quartermaster Tokens to buy basic gear with and 2 Cache Keys, used to buy material chests used for gear upgrading and modification. Both of these are account wide.
CHALLENGER MODE
Challenger is the game’s prominent system. Here you’ll start getting gear drops and progress your hero into higher level difficulties.
Instead of just increasing stats, higher leagues introduce new mob/boss abilities and dungeon curses to alter gameplay, sharply increasing late-game difficulty while still allowing casual players to safely progress their gear to overcome challenges.
Each Challenger League has difficulties +1 to +7, with +7 being reserved for the capstone dungeon.
The Leagues in Challenger mode are as follows:
- Contender
- Adept
- Champion
- Paragon
Eternal Mode After defeating the capstone dungeon in Paragon, you unlock Eternal mode. There is no concrete information about the mode yet, but we do know that it will feature capped rewards but uncapped difficulty, intended for limitless leaderboard climbing and achievement.
DUNGEON TYPES
- Adventures (12 mins): Shorter, single-boss dungeons. Great for farming and quick progression.
- Capstone Dungeons (28-32 mins): Unlocked at difficulty +7 of each league. These feature 3 bosses and complex mechanics. Beating a Capstone is required to advance to the next League.
DIFFICULTY & LEAGUES
As you get stronger, you move up through Challenger Leagues. Each league introduces new mechanics, mob abilities, and "Curses" (modifiers).

PROGRESSION: THE STARMAP
Progression: The Starmap
- Left Track: Unlocked by simply finishing dungeons. Gives you your core abilities.
- Center Track: Unlocked by gaining Dungeon Rating. Gives stats and materials.
- Right Track: Cosmetic rewards (Mounts).
Fast Track Strategy: Run 8 Quickplay matches immediately. This gives you enough tokens to buy a full set of basic gear and unlock your entire Left Track of abilities instantly.

GEAR & STATS
Your power comes almost entirely from your equipment.
Gearing works similar to MMOs and ARPGs. Upon completing a dungeon you’ll get random pieces of gear based on the type, difficulty and league of the dungeon you’re running.
Primary Stats (Stamina, Str/Agi/Int) provide raw power and health. Secondary Stats tweak your performance:
- Crit: Double damage/healing chance.
- Haste: Speed (Cast speed, attack speed, cooldown reduction).
- Expertise: Flat increase to all damage/healing.
- Spirit: Increases the chance to trigger your hero's unique mechanic.
GEAR RARITY & ITEM LEVEL (iLvl)
Higher difficulty = Higher Rarity = Higher Stats.
- Common (Grey): Bought from vendors.
- Uncommon (Green): Contender drops (Max iLvl 120).
- Rare (Blue): Adept drops (Max iLvl 180).
- Epic (Purple): Champion drops (Max iLvl 240). Unlocks Weapon Trees.
- Champion (Orange): Paragon drops (Max iLvl 330).
SPECIAL ITEM
- Relics: You can equip two. These are utility skills (Portals, Speed buffs, Stealth). Note: The Chicken relic makes you safe but prevents you from earning score—don't use it if pushing rating.
- Legendaries: Powerful items that alter how your hero plays. You can equip only one. Dropped in Champion difficulty+.
Each hero has a pool of Legendary items that drop in dungeons at Champion difficulty or higher, featuring a powerful affix that can significantly alter the hero's abilities, often forming the basis of entire talent builds, and these items always drop at level 300 (Champion) or 330 (Paragon).

- Set Bonuses: Dungeons drop specific sets. Capstone sets usually offer stronger bonuses than Adventure sets.
SOCKETS AND GEMS
At Adept difficulty and higher, gems can drop and items can randomly drop with gem sockets. Gems have gem power, which unlocks passive bonuses for your character that progressively get more powerful as you reach further in each type.
