WoW Forever Black Market Brings Gear, Collectibles and Fixed Reagent Prices

World of Warcraft: Forever is bringing the Black Market Auction House into its Classic-inspired world. Hidden inside Powderfuse Port, the new market gives players two very different ways to spend their gold: competitive Black Market listings and a fixed-price reagent vendor.

Madam Swyndle handles gear and collectible listings, while Mister Graphed sells rare crafting materials at predetermined prices. Together, these NPCs could have a major effect on gearing, collecting, crafting, and the long-term WoW Forever economy.

Where to Find the WoW Forever Black Market

The Black Market is located at Powderfuse Port, a small Goblin outpost in the new Riverglades zone. It is not located at Farholde Keep.

Madam Swyndle's Auction Listings

Madam Swyndle offers a rotating selection of Black Market items. Gear seen during the beta was listed for 100 gold or more, although the final price can increase as players compete for the same listing.

Many of the currently observed armor pieces belong to the updated Dungeon Set 1 collections. These items resemble their Classic counterparts but include modified stats and set effects designed for WoW Forever.

The presence of pets, tabards, mounts, and former TCG rewards makes the system relevant even to players who do not need the available gear. The important limitation is that Black Market inventory can rotate, so a desired collectible may not remain available permanently.

Mister Graphed Sets a Price Cap on Rare Reagents

Mister Graphed operates differently from Madam Swyndle. Instead of auctioning items, he sells crafting materials directly for fixed amounts of gold. According to the current beta inventory, these materials have no purchase limit.

This creates an effective price ceiling. Players can still gather materials and sell them through the regular Auction House, but buyers have little reason to pay more than Mister Graphed's fixed price.

How the Price Cap Changes the Economy

The vendor does not force player-listed materials to cost exactly the same amount. Farmers can still sell below Mister Graphed's prices and attract buyers who want the cheapest option.

What the vendor prevents is extreme scarcity pricing. If a player attempts to list a Black Lotus for hundreds or thousands of gold, buyers can instead purchase one from Mister Graphed for 50 gold.

The same logic applies to Arcane Crystals and the new high-end reagents. This should make raid consumables and important crafted items more predictable while preserving a market for players who gather and sell materials below the vendor cap.

There is also no profitable vendor loop. For example, Pyrite costs 5 gold from Mister Graphed but only sells back to an NPC for 1 silver.

Gift of Galloping Adds Another Gold Sink

Mister Graphed also sells the new Gift of Galloping for 150 gold.

This is not a permanent riding upgrade, but it gives active players a noticeable travel advantage for two weeks. It also creates a repeatable gold sink for players who want to maintain the bonus.
