Raids are Now Live on Wrath Classic

Raids are Now Live on Wrath Classic! Players can enter Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, Vault of Archavon and Obsidian Sanctum!

Naxxramas

Naxxramas is the main raid you will be journeying through in Phase 1 of Wrath of the Lich King Classic, containing 15 bosses and also being the primary source of four out of five pieces of your unique "Tier 7" gear containing set bonuses. You must also complete the encounter against Sapphiron to obtain the Key to the Focusing Iris, needed to enter the Eye of Eternity raid.

The Obsidian Sanctum

The Obsidian Sanctum is a raid containing one encounter, but it is unique in that you can adjust the difficulty of the fight by choosing whether or not to slay up to 3 Twilight Drake lieutenants around the edge of the instance. For those brave enough to take on Sartharion with all of his support still alive, you will receive the Reins of the Black Drake or Reins of the Twillight Drake in 10- or 25-man, respectively, along with a chance at the gloves token for your "Tier 7" armor set.

The Eye of Eternity

Uniquely being the only raid of Phase 1 that requires attunement, The Eye of Eternity is the most challenging instance in the initial release of Wrath of the Lich King Classic and will see you and your group facing off against Malygos, the Aspect of Magic himself, to end the Nexus War between the Blue Dragonflight, the Wyrmrest Accord, and the Kirin Tor. Along with the highest item level gear of the Phase, players will also have a chance to obtain the Reins of the Blue Drake and Reins of the Azure Drake mounts.

Vault of Archavon

The Vault of Archavon raid is uniquely available to only one faction on a given realm at a time, depending on which faction is currently in control of the Wintergrasp zone. However, as control of this zone is based on a massive PvP activity, many of the items from this raid are PvP-themed. During Phase 1, this raid will only consist of one encounter against Archavon the Stone Watcher, who will drop chests, gloves, and boots, as well as a chance at the unique Reins of the Grand Black War Mammoth / Reins of the Grand Black War Mammoth 3-seater mount.
