Midnight Season 1 is close to the finish line, and Blizzard has posted the latest Mythic+ rating cutoffs for the season's top regional rewards. These numbers show where players currently need to land for Umbral Champion and Umbral Hero if the season ended today.

The important part is that these are not final cutoffs. They can still rise before the season officially closes, especially as more players push keys during the final week. If you are close to the line, treat the current number as a warning, not a finish line.

How to Use the Prediction

For Umbral Champion, watch the projected top 1% line. For Umbral Hero, watch the projected top 0.1% line. If your score is only slightly above the current Blizzard cutoff but below the predicted finish, you should keep pushing.

What the Rewards Mean

Umbral Champion is awarded to players who finish Midnight Mythic+ Season 1 in the top 1% of their region by Mythic+ Rating. This is the more reachable of the two elite cutoffs, but it is still a serious push-level achievement.

Umbral Hero is reserved for the top 0.1% of players in each region. This is the highest seasonal Mythic+ bracket and requires far more score security because the cutoff is much more competitive.

Noob Club also lists the Umbral Ashes mount as part of the high-end Season 1 Mythic+ reward chase, making the final cutoff push especially important for collectors.

How Much Score Should You Aim For?

The safest answer is: more than the posted cutoff. These numbers are snapshots from August 4, 2026, not final values. The closer the season gets to the end, the more likely late pushes are to move the line upward.

For Umbral Champion, players should not stop exactly at 3962 EU or 3915 US. A better target is to build at least a small buffer above the current line, especially if your score comes from keys that other players can still easily beat.

For Umbral Hero, the buffer matters even more. The top 0.1% bracket is extremely sensitive to last-minute score movement, so anyone sitting near 4207 EU or 4183 US should keep pushing if they still have upgradeable dungeon slots.

Practical Push Advice

Check your weakest dungeon scores first. One upgraded low key can be worth more than repeating your best dungeon.
Do not rely on the exact cutoff. If you are only 1-10 points above the line, you are still in danger.
Push both Tyrannical and Fortified where possible. Missing one side of a dungeon usually leaves easy score on the table.
Avoid risky depleted-key chains. In the final stretch, clean timed upgrades are worth more than gambling on unstable groups.

Europe vs Americas: Which Region Is Higher?

Europe currently has the higher cutoff in both reward brackets. The EU top 1% line is 3962, compared to 3915 in the Americas. For top 0.1%, EU is also ahead at 4207, compared to 4183 in the Americas.

The difference is not enormous, but it is enough to matter for anyone close to the edge. EU players need a little more score security right now, while US players should still expect movement before the final lock.
