Midnight Renown Guide — World of Warcraft

📖 Introduction

The Renown reputation system returns in the Midnight expansion. Progress is account-wide and shared across all characters in your Warband — no catch-up system needed. There are four factions, each tied to its own zone, and the maximum Renown level is 20 for all of them.

Each Renown level requires 2,500 reputation to unlock. After hitting max level, continuing to earn reputation rewards you with a Paragon Bag containing bonus loot.

🏰 The Four Factions

⚔️ Silvermoon Court — Eversong Woods

The aristocratic faction of Quel'Thalas, steeped in politics and ancient tradition. Silvermoon Court has four sub-factions — Blood Knights, Farstriders, Magisters, and Shades of the Row — each with their own flavor of rewards including gear, profession recipes, and cosmetics.

🪓 Amani Tribe — Zul'Aman

Once rulers of much of the Eastern Kingdoms, the Amani Trolls are direct descendants of Zul'jin. Forced into alliance against Xal'atath's invasion, they offer some of the most visually striking rewards in Midnight, including troll-themed mounts and weapons.

🌿 Hara'ti — Harandir

Guardians gathered around the cradle of their sleeping goddess, waiting for her return. Their reward track leans heavily into nature and ancient elven aesthetics — unique cosmetics, housing items, and crafting materials.

🌀 The Singularity — Voidstorm

A faction forged in the chaos of the Void rift. Harsh and unforgiving, they offer void-themed rewards including dark mounts, transmog pieces, and system unlocks tied to endgame content.

📅 How to Earn Reputation

🔄 Weekly Sources

• 🗡️ Weekly Dungeon Quest Offered by Halduron Brightwing in Silvermoon City. Complete any dungeon in any difficulty — even Follower Dungeons count. Rewards 1,500 reputation with a faction of your choice.
• 🌍 World Quests Bonus Event During the bonus event week, completing 10 World Quests in Quel'Thalas rewards 2,500 reputation (a full Renown level) with a faction of your choice.
• 🏚️ Bountiful Delves Complete a Bountiful Delve for a large reputation reward with a random faction. Available twice per week.
• ⚔️ PvP Quests Weekly quests from Zerella in Silvermoon City send you into Midnight zones or Battlegrounds. Rewards a small amount of reputation with a faction of your choice.

✅ One-Time Sources

• 📜 Story Campaign Completing the main quest chain in each zone gives a significant reputation boost with that zone's faction. Side stories contribute additional rep as well.
• 📚 Lore Objects & Exploration Collectible lore objects scattered across zones grant 250 reputation each. Telescopes placed on mountain peaks grant 100 reputation each. (Addon: HandyNotes: Midnight)

• 📝 Inscription Contracts Crafted by Inscription players, these grant your entire Warband +10 or +15 bonus reputation per World Quest completed, depending on rank. One contract per faction — a simple passive boost that adds up over time.

🎁 Renown Rewards Overview

🛡️ Gear

Each faction offers Champion Track gear 1/6  at Renown level 9 — one piece per faction, four total. These are a great early boost before you dive into raids and Mythic+. Notable examples:

• Amani Tribe — Neck
• The Singularity — Crucible of Erratic Energies 
• Silvermoon Court — Helm
• Hara'ti — Belt

🐴 Mounts

Each faction offers two mounts purchasable with Voidlight Marl currency at Renown levels 17 and 19. Highlights include:

• 🐦 Amani Blessed Bear

• 🐻 Crimson Silvermoon Hawkstrider

• 🌀 Ravenous Shredclaw — a fan-favorite from The Singularity 

• 🦅 Cerulean Sporeglider — a highly sought-after reward from Hara'ti

🏠 Housing & Cosmetics

All four factions offer housing decorations, transmog pieces, and title rewards spread throughout their Renown tracks — great long-term goals for collectors.

📦 Profession Materials & Recipes

Each faction unlocks exclusive crafting recipes and provides profession materials at various Renown levels — essential for players focused on the crafting economy.

💡 Tips & Priorities

• 🔸 Always complete the story campaign first — it unlocks World Quests and provides the biggest single reputation boost.
• 🔸 The weekly dungeon quest only lets you pick one faction — plan ahead and rotate based on what rewards you need most.
• 🔸 Buy an Inscription Contract early — it's a passive bonus on every World Quest with zero extra effort.
• 🔸 Don't ignore lore objects and telescopes while leveling — free reputation that most players miss.
• 🔸 Work on all four tracks in parallel — the most efficient path to collecting everything Midnight has to offer.

Midnight's Renown system is smooth background progression. Stay consistent with your weeklies, do your Delves, and all four factions will be maxed out before you know it. 🌙✨
