WoW Midnight — Catalyst Guide
⚙️ How the Catalyst Works
The Catalyst uses a currency called Dawnlight Manaflux. Every other week all of your characters gain 1 charge of Dawnlight Manaflux passively — stacking up to a maximum of 8 charges.
You also gain a Crystallized Dawnlight Manaflux (bonus charge) by achieving any one of the following:
- 1,600+ Rated PvP Rating
- 2,000+ Mythic+ Rating
- Defeating final boss Midnight Falls on Heroic
To convert non-tier items to tier items you simply drag the item into The Catalyst slot and click Transform.
Additionally, you can use The Catalyst to transform items on slots that don't have tier options (Cloak, Wrist, Waist, Boots). These items won't convert into tier pieces but rather into items that share the appearance of said tier. In some cases it also swaps the secondary stats that item provides.

🌙 Season 1 — Non-Tier Slots
The following table catalogs all of the Midnight Season 1 non-tier set armor for each class. All of these items have their own unique set of secondary stats, which can be useful for players looking for specific stats on their armor. Keep in mind that catalyzing armor for transmog purposes will still cost you a Catalyst charge.
