WoW Midnight Patch 12.0.7 Revelations — Release Date

Blizzard officially confirmed that Patch 12.0.7 Revelations launches on June 17, 2026 — two weeks from the announcement date of June 3. The patch is bigger than most x.0.7 updates Blizzard has shipped. Sporefall raid, two new Showdown zones, the Omnium Folio power system, Dragonflight Timewalking, a Troll lore storyline, a small holiday event, and a long list of UI improvements all land together.

What's Available on June 17 at Launch

Omnium Folio — New Power System

Join Magister Umbric and Grand Magister Rommath on a mission to reconfigure and restore the Sunstrider Omnium — an ancient elven relic originally created by Dath'remar Sunstrider to study and observe the schools of magic and serve as an academic repository. After years of dormancy, the Sunstrider Omnium has reawakened, unsettling the Magisters and sowing confusion in their ranks.

Once unlocked, you'll be entrusted with the Omnium Folio — a runic ledger containing powerful runes you can use in battle. Continue participating in weekly activities to imbue more runes, customizing and unlocking their maximum potential to aid in the fight against the Void.

Five weeks to fully unlock. No gear slot required. Rune choices are free to swap at any time once unlocked. The system is detailed in our dedicated Omnium Folio guide.

Val and Naigtal — Showdown Zones

Simply fighting the forces of the Void in Void Assaults and Ritual Sites is not enough to stop their schemes. To destroy the root of the threat, you need to track down the leaders behind these attacks on Azeroth. Find them by traveling through the portal in the Voidstorm that leads to two new locations — Val and Naigtal.

Naigtal — A fungal, arcane-rich world now occupied by an insidious ethereal faction known as the Hal'hadar.

Val — A once-Legion-occupied icy world where Domanaar Imperator Pertinax has established his bastion of power.

The portal is unstable and changes destinations every week, offering constantly rotating challenges and adventures. Players can complete World Quests, defeat rare enemies, take part in events, and ultimately have a Showdown with the zone leaders as World Bosses.

Both zones support Heroic World Tier — unlocked by killing the World Boss on Normal. Heroic World Tier has a recommended item level of 274 and features 37 affixes that can stack up to 4 on a single mob. The Heroic Showdowns meta achievement rewards the Tortured Gorger mount.

Sporefall Raid — One Boss, Flexible Mythic

A new single-boss raid located in Harandar where you face the fungal giant Rotmire. The raid is available in Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties. Players can also enter Mythic in flexible groups of 15 to 25 players — the first time WoW has run a flexible Mythic roster format.

Rewards include the Luminous Sporeling mount from Mythic difficulty.

"This sporeling greedily devours glowing spores and has therefore begun to glow itself."

Sporefall also awards one Nebulous Voidcore from the weekly quest on any difficulty — run it on LFR if you just want the bonus roll currency.
