Its main and the most useful feature is that Support Gems socketed into this shield can also support Skills from your main hand including both skills from gems or skills granted by items; this will effectively allow you to wield a one-handed weapon and shield as if they were a six-link, thus boosting the strength of your character!

There's no easy way of obtaining this shield since it's drop chance is added to the core drop pool; you can't chance it either. You may try divination cards, but it remains only a possibilty, because you can get it only by trading cards for a random unique item. Fortunately, there's no need to hope for a miracle!
