Murder Row is a four-boss Midnight dungeon featured in the Season 2 Mythic+ rotation. The dungeon is located in Silvermoon City and uses a 34-minute Mythic+ timer.

Boss Strategy

Kystia Manaheart Strategy

Kystia Manaheart is fought with her mana wyrm, Nibbles. While Nibbles is under Felshield pressure, Kystia takes reduced damage, so the group should focus the add phase and prepare to burst the boss when the window opens.

Avoid Nibbles' frontal Fel Spray and dispel Corroding Spittle. When Kystia uses Mirror Images, the images must be interrupted and killed quickly because they cast Felstorm.

When Kystia becomes Destabilized, she takes increased damage for a short period. This is the best time to use offensive cooldowns.

Zaen Bladesorrow Strategy

Zaen Bladesorrow is a cover-based boss. At 100 energy, he casts Murder in a Row, forcing players to hide behind freight before he fires.

Use Fire Bomb carefully because it can destroy cover. Groups should save enough freight for each Murder in a Row cast and avoid standing near bombs when they expire.

Killing Spree creates heavy group damage, so healers should plan cooldowns. Tanks also need to watch Zaen's Envenom because it applies Heartstop Poison.

Xathuux the Annihilator Strategy

Xathuux the Annihilator is a movement-heavy demon boss. During Demonic Rage, he gains Burning Steps and leaves dangerous fel pools behind him.

The tank should move Xathuux around the edge of the room to keep the center clear. DPS should destroy the axe from Axe Toss quickly because it pulses Fel Lightning until it dies.

Legion Strike is a dangerous tank cone that also reduces healing received, so tanks should face the boss away and use mitigation for heavy hits.

Lithiel Cinderfury Strategy

Lithiel Cinderfury is the final boss and the main coordination check of Murder Row. She summons demons with Fingers of Gul'dan and Summon Vilefiend, so players should kill adds before they become a bigger problem.

After creating her Demonic Gateway, Lithiel casts Malefic Wave. Use the gateway to avoid the initial wave damage and prevent the Fire vulnerability from stacking.

Interrupt Chaos Bolt whenever possible. If demons are still alive when Malefic Wave reaches them, they can become empowered, so add control matters more than raw boss damage.

Trash Tips for Mythic+

• Assign interrupts before large pulls. Fel Missiles, Seduction, Fel Rage, Health Funnel, and Chaos Bolt can punish loose groups quickly.
• Use Fel Crystals in the first area. Wowhead notes that Fel Crystals can be picked up and turned in to vendors for buffs.
• Handle Zaen's freight correctly. Use early Fire Bombs to manage the first Fel Barrel, then save cover for Murder in a Row.
• Purge or stop Fel Rage. Wrathguard Flayers gain a large damage reduction if Fel Rage is allowed through.
• Do not ignore add spawns. Mirror Images, axes, Vilefiends, imps, and Infernals can all create avoidable time loss in Mythic+.
