Several weeks into Season 1, the meta is settling. The dataset has grown from 6 million to nearly 10 million parses — the data is now significantly more reliable. The key ceiling has also shifted: Archon now tracks the full range up to +20, which creates a sharper separation between specs at the top end. Specs that felt playable at +10 start showing real gaps at +18 and above.
How Archon's Tier List Works
Archon ranks specs by a combination of raw DPS and Popularity — how frequently a spec is actually brought into groups at +7 and above. Popularity is more honest than simulated numbers because it reflects community trust in practice. DPS values shown are 95th percentile at +20. The higher the key level, the more these rankings reflect actual in-group value rather than theoretical output.
Dungeon Ease Tier List — +7 to +20
Archon separately ranks dungeons by timer completion rate across all key levels. This shows the real picture: not every dungeon in the pool is equally forgiving for pushing.
Hero Spec Rankings — Top Parses +7 to +20
High parse count combined with high top percentage means the build is fully solved. Low parse count with very high top percentage means it's a specialist pick — ceiling is real, but the player pool is small.

The Big Picture — Week 6
The Midnight Season 1 Mythic+ meta is settled. At 9.6 million parses the data is conclusive: Demonology Warlock and Augmentation Evoker in S-tier isn't a first-week fluke, it's a confirmed pattern. The gap between S and A-tier is real at +18 and above — specs that feel close at +12 start diverging sharply when keys get difficult.
Key changes from the previous tier list: Fire Mage climbed into A-tier after 12.0.5 tuning, Shadow Priest received meaningful buffs and stabilized in A-tier, Assassination Rogue appeared in A-tier for the first time. The expanded +7 to +20 range makes the separation between tiers sharper than ever: survivability matters as much as DPS at the top end. Every death on a high key costs 15–30 seconds of timer plus a raise — specs with stronger self-sustain move up in real value beyond what raw numbers alone suggest.
