With the release of patch 12.0.5, Blizzard is introducing two new achievements for players pushing the upper limits of Mythic+: Keystone Myth and Umbral Champion: Midnight Season One.

If you've already completed the existing milestones and are looking for additional goals to pursue, Keystone Myth and Umbral Champion are intended to offer that next step.

Keystone Myth — 3400 Rating Reward

Requirement: 3,400 Mythic+ rating

Upon reaching 3400 Mythic+ rating, players will earn a Timelost Saddle — earned once per warband per season. This item can be brought to Lindormi in Silvermoon or the Timeways, where it can be exchanged for a mount of your choice from a curated selection. This includes Keystone Master and Keystone Legend mounts from previous seasons, as well as all new mounts being added to the pool.

This is effectively a Vicious Saddle system for Mythic+ — a concept the community has requested for years. Instead of receiving a single predetermined mount, players can browse a curated pool and pick the one they actually want, including mounts from past seasons they may have missed.

Blizzard notes: "We want to give dedicated Mythic+ players something that continues to feel rewarding over time, while also creating a path to revisit some older rewards you may have missed along the way."

Rating Threshold May Change

Keystone Myth will launch with a 3400 rating requirement, but Blizzard does not expect that threshold to remain fixed forever. Mythic+ evolves from season to season, and the goal is for this achievement to continue to represent a similar level of difficulty and prestige each time. Because of that, Blizzard may adjust the rating requirement in future seasons.

What Rating Is 3400?

Based on community estimates, 3,400 Mythic+ rating in Season 1 corresponds roughly to timing dungeons around the +16 level across all eight dungeon slots. It sits above Keystone Legend (around +12 timed) but below the 0.1% title bracket, making it a meaningful high-end benchmark without being completely out of reach for dedicated players who aren't competing at the very top.

Umbral Champion — Top 1% End-of-Season Reward

Requirement: Top 1% of Mythic+ rating at the end of Midnight Season 1

With the close of Midnight Season One, players in the top 1% of Mythic+ rating will qualify for a new achievement, Umbral Champion: Midnight Season One, and be awarded a new exclusive mount.

This is a seasonal prestige reward — it will not be available after Season 1 ends. Unlike the Timelost Saddle from Keystone Myth, the Umbral Champion mount is exclusive to this season's top 1% and will not enter the Timelost Saddle mount pool at a later date. It functions similarly to the Gladiator mount system in PvP.

How to Earn Field Accolades for the Mount Pool

The Timelost Saddle is earned through Mythic+ rating — not through Field Accolades, which are the separate currency earned from Void Assaults and Ritual Sites. The two systems are distinct:

• Field Accolades → Champion/Heroic gear and Void Tier 2 cosmetic caches from Void Assaults and Ritual Sites
• Timelost Saddle → earned automatically upon hitting 3,400 Mythic+ rating, once per warband per season

Once you have the Timelost Saddle, take it to Lindormi in Silvermoon City or the Timeways to exchange it for a mount of your choice.
