Voidscar Arena Dungeon Guide: Bosses, Mythic+ Strategy, Loot and Rewards

Voidscar Arena is a three-boss Midnight dungeon featured in the Season 2 Mythic+ rotation. The dungeon is located in Voidstorm, north of Slayer's Rise, and uses a 30-minute Mythic+ timer.

The dungeon has an arena-style flow with dangerous trash before each boss, route-based buffs, heavy Shadow and Nature damage, poison mechanics, and orb control on the final boss. Groups need assigned interrupts, quick dispels, clean add handling, and strong movement to keep the timer stable.

Voidscar Arena Location and Entrance

Voidscar Arena is located in Voidstorm, north of Slayer's Rise. Players can reach Voidstorm from Silvermoon City using the portal at /way #2393 35.3 65.3.

The dungeon entrance waypoint is /way #2444 53.6 34.4.

Players who time Voidscar Arena on +10 or higher unlock the dungeon teleport spell Path of the Brutal Combatant.

Boss Strategy

Taz'Rah Strategy

Taz'Rah is the first boss of Voidscar Arena and focuses on line attacks, void pools, and group-wide Shadow damage. His Ethereal Shades use Nether Dash, so players should avoid standing in front of shade lines and keep the arena readable.

Dark Bloom creates heavy group damage and causes Void Fissures to erupt. Move quickly, avoid puddles, and give the healer room to stabilize the group before the next overlap.

Tanks should be ready for Void Blast, which hits hard and knocks the target back. Keep the boss positioned so knockbacks and fissures do not push players into bad space.

Atroxus Strategy

Atroxus is a poison-heavy behemoth encounter. The boss uses Poison Splash to create pools on the ground, and players standing in those pools can be affected by Mind-Numbing Poison.

Noxious Breath is a dangerous frontal attack, so Atroxus should be faced away from the group. Players need to move out of the breath quickly and avoid stacking poison pools in the center of the arena.

When Atroxus uses Monstrous Roar, a Toxic Creeper can spawn from a nearby poison pool. Kill the add quickly, because its aura and bite can make the fight much harder in Mythic+.

Charonus Strategy

Charonus is the final boss and the main coordination check of Voidscar Arena. The fight revolves around Unstable Singularity and Gravitic Orbs. Players need to kite their orbs into singularities instead of letting them chase freely around the arena.

Use pings or simple assignments so each DPS knows which singularity to use. If players hesitate, the room can quickly become messy, especially when Cosmic Crash and Void Cascade overlap with orb movement.

Avoid Dark Waves, dodge Cosmic Crash impact zones, and keep moving around the boss during Void Cascade. Clean orb handling is more important here than tunneling boss damage.

Trash Tips for Mythic+

Choose your route before the key starts. The left path gives a bonus Versatility buff, while the right path gives a bonus Mastery buff.
Assign early interrupts. Demoralizing Shout, Shadowbolt Volley, and Violent Sand can make the first section rough if casts go through.
Face Brutok into a wall. This helps stop charge movement from dragging the pull across the arena.
Kill Devour targets quickly. Devouring Brutalizers can heal if their Devour target is not killed fast enough.
Use pings on Charonus. Orb and singularity assignments make the final boss much cleaner in Mythic+.
